Thailand is a Buddhist country with strong religious traditions and customs that must be considered and respected, while visiting this exotic country.
Shorts and t-shirts are not suitable for visiting sacraments, and at the entrance to the temple your shoes should be certainly taken off, you can not sit with your feet directed towards Buddha or with your legs crossed, that will be perceived as an insult to the surrounding people.
