Thai Gem and Jewelry Traders Association in collaboration with the Department of Export Promotion of Thailand announced the dates of the 46th Bangkok Fair of Gems and Jewelry, reports the portal Antwerpfacetsonline.
The exhibition will be held from 7 to 11 September 2010.
To allay the concerns of visitors at the recently happened anti-governmental riots, the organizers have assured that during the exhibition protection and security at the highest level would be provided.
The organizers note that after the adoption of a plan for national reconciliation, the political situation in Thailand was reassured.
It is expected that the exhibition which is the largest event of the jewelry industry in South-East Asia, would attract about 1500 exhibitors and participants.
24 Categories of pavilions will be organized at the fair in Bangkok, including pavilions dedicated to diamonds.
On September 7-9 Fair will be open to participants of jewelry sector, and from 10 to 11 September all comers will be able to visit it.
